Battlefield 3 Rakes in Awards at E3, Console Footage to Be Shown Later Tonight

Battlefield 3 was the cornerstone of EA’s press conference, that much is a given. In saying that, I think it’s safe to say that E3 had a very good E3 showing.

DICE showed off a tank level of the main campaign and also allowed certain people to get a taste of BF3′s MP behind closed doors.

It must have been one heck of a show as the game has garnered over 40 “Best of E3″ nominations. Not only that, but they managed to win 20 awards.

Want to know how that looks like?

That should certainly bolster DICE’s confidence in Battlefield 3, no?

In other BF3-related news, if you’ve been itching to see how the game will look on consoles be sure to tune in to the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon later this evening to catch a glimpse of the first-ever console footage (PS3) of Battlefield 3 in action. No word if what they’ll show will be for single-player or multiplayer.

In saying this, don’t expect PC-quality footage from consoles. Yes, I know that’s painfully obvious, but I just thought I’d share that anyway.

If you can’t watch Fallon later, don’t fret. We will have that footage for you here on DeltaGamer with added insight to whatever it is we see there.

PS3? Well that's hardly useful.
