What? You want more screenshots and trailers? Sheesh you people are insatiable, how’s a fella supposed to get any gaming, I mean… work done. Here we have yet another horror title, Shadows of the Damned, developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Electronic Arts. Set tentatively for release in June 2011 for the Xbox 360 and PS3, Shadows of the Damned will be a third person shooter with heavy elements of the supernatural and heartbreaking romance…yeah I know, barf…as the main character, Garcia Hotspur, travels to Hell to rescue his girlfriend.

All the elements are there to make a good story from what I can see, romance, comedy, horror, action, guns and a pet demon named Johnson that can turn himself into a weapon or a motorcycle. It’s unconfirmed however, if Hotspur’s Johnson can do other things…

The game is a collaboration of effort from both Goichi Suda and Shinji Mikami, both veterans of gaming titles such as No More Heroes and Devil May Cry. Combining styles of Punk and Psychological Thrillers, the game looks intriguing…for someone else maybe. Look who am I kidding? Yes, I am certain Shadows of the Damned will offer some unique gameplay and will be fun, but I can’t help it. It’s hard for me to get into a game as over the top as this.  I mean seriously, a pet demon? Named Johnson of all things. Let’s not forget that whole transforming thing. Hey Johnson, do me favor will you? Transform into another title for me.

Anyway, I will leave it up to you to form your own opinion about this title, have a look.
