Dead Island’s First In-Game Teaser Trailer Released

If you don’t know what game Dead Island is, it’s an open world horror game from Techland, the same guys who made Call of Juarez. They released a trailer earlier in the year that was very well received.
The game is a zombie game with a first-person perspective and can be played with up to four people (local and online). If you think that sounds a little too much like Valve’s Left 4 Dead series, you’re not alone. What’s different is Dead Island focuses on melee combat instead of guns and it has an actual story attached to it.
The game is set in the Palms Resort, a fictional town in Papua New Guinea called Banoi. The premise is the four characters you can choose from are trapped in an island full of zombies, and for some reason they are immune to the zombie outbreak that’s what we know so far.
Techland has released the first of its teaser trailers leading to E3 and we have it for your viewing pleasure.
Dead Island is expected to be out later this year for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Expect more Dead Island info and footage at E3.
