Modern Warfare 3 “England” Teaser Released

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 news keeps pouring in today, as a second teaser for the game has just been spotted online. If you’ve already watched the debut trailer, which confirmed that you would be taking on the Russians in downtown New York, the new trailer reveals a new location with a black and green shot of Big Ben; that’s right, we’re headed to jolly old England this winter.

The trailer is very similar to the “Am3rica” trailer from earlier today, but the few lines of dialogue we can hear are packed with clues. From the first exchange in the trailer, we can discern that the city of London is in a state of lockdown, much like New York in the other trailer. In addition, a new line of Russian can be heard at the end of the trailer, which seems to be the second part of a list of instructions. We’ve had the audio translated, with the result being, “Two: Use everything at your disposal.”

The trailer gives us a whole new set of questions to ponder over: Can we expect more trailers to come, with further instructions from the Russian voice? Will other countries be revealed as targets in the coming days or weeks? And what does this say about the overarching story for the game? Let us know what you think, and which country you think will be represented in the next trailer.

Update: Germany Teaser

A third, Germany teaser has been released.

Halo used to be a cash register, now it's MW!

Black Ops sold well..but trust me, MW3 will sell MORE than Black Ops!

Battlefield 3 has been mouthing off lately, EA's been boasting about BF3 to be better than MW3.
Sure the gameplay and graphics will be better, but not in terms of sales!

People bashing MW3 are just typical PC fanboys

the king of FPS is landing Nov 2011! If Battlefield 3 beats MW3 in terms of sales, then it's true that hell is a cold place and not a hot place,

@xino - So you're of the opinion that BF3 will be superior in terms of graphics and gameplay...but you're already celebrating the fact that MW3 will sell more? Unless you're an Activision shareholder, I'm not sure I understand why that would be something to get excited about. I'm not saying you shouldn't be looking forward to MW3, but as gamers, shouldn't we be looking forward to the better game, and not one that will sell well based on the name on the box?

@xino - Why back CoD if you know that Battlefield is a more solid game not just a cash cow releasing half arsed games, its just become an easy way to make money to them.

Started to bore of modern warfare now. I know, it's a disgusting comment. But middle east and russian is starting to feel very samey. Perhaps it's cos I'm UK. You US guys are so very lucky; for as long as I've known, a majority of games are designed to look like your home ground; it must feel awesome. I think the getaway and a race track is probably the closest we get to experiencing home-turf excitement and realism. Fingers crossed the London teaser is true. Bet it's just one single shitty mission though. Let's hope they tempt us all back for a rocking trilogy. On a side note, Skyrim's out so can't see my life getting a look in lol.

Teaser doesnt give much away but it looks like there will be missions in us,uk,france and germany. I just hope MW3 can live up to all the hype because i my opinon Black Ops just didn't. It may have sold well but i expected more, the single player mode was easy i completed the game on the hardest difficulty in under 6 hours and if you take out the cut scenes you could probably do it in an hour. Online mode wasn't as good as MW2 period and zombies is cool but does get boring after a while. In MW3 the online mode has to be bigger and better if they want to keep the FPS crowd happy, would be cool if u could fight for your country and invade other countries lol online WAR. Xino says EA are boasting about BF3 being better well lets hope it is, but i dont what EA has seen to make that boast have they seen something we haven't. If they haven't seen MW3 how do they know their game is better anyway lets hope both game push the boundries of FPS and gaming in general.
