More Hope for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Revival

GSC Gameworld appears to be taking all of our fragile hearts on a roller coaster ride of emotions. First, the depressing news came out that the company would be closing for good, taking in-development S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 down with it. Then, a few days later, a ray of sunshine poked through the clouds as the company tweeted that they would “do our best to continue”.

Now, things appear to be looking up for the probably-dead-now-possibly-undead developer, as GSC Gameworld has tweeted once again, giving us reason to believe the game may still be on the way despite confirming nothing: “We will not be releasing any official news until around mid January. However there is cause for hope! Good hunting!” Though we’re not sure exactly what’s going on over there, I’d say the smart money is on a revived S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 project continuing on somehow, someway, for the greater good of all PC gamers.

They did post this on their FB page: "The Stalker team continues work on the project and hopefully everything will turn out well. Good Hunting Stalkers!" and released some concept art of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2.
