First Image of New Bioware Game Released

Earlier this morning, the good folks at Game Informer promised to offer a “first look at Bioware’s new franchise.” Shaking with anticipation, we at DeltaGamer rushed at the opportunity, only to find a teasingly concise single screenshot. The image, displayed above, depicts a car crash in a Wasteland-like desert, sending some poor sod flying through the air to certain death. Questions already abound. Does this mean Bioware is also trying to cash in on the post-apocalyptic gravy train? Will it be an RPG like Fallout 3, or a shooter like Rage, or perhaps like their stellar and star-studded Mass Effect franchise, the best of both worlds? Or is the whole thing just a cruel hoax to tease all of us anxiously awaiting the release of the next Dragon Age and Mass Effect games?
Clearly there are more questions then answers. Anticipate an enormous amount of speculation and critical analysis into this screenshot in the coming weeks until the game is officially announced on December 10th, 2011, at this year’s Video Game Awards ceremony.
