GTA V Will Have Multiplayer

As we’ve already reported, the new Grand Theft Auto installment will be set in Los Santos, a fictionalized version of modern day Los Angeles. Among the typical rabble of how GTA is great and big and how their creators are great and big, one statement from Rockstar stood out.
A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California.
I’m not sure what a bold new direction entails in regards to gameplay and amount of brown and bloom (although we’d consider something like this pretty bold), but it’ll be interesting to see what the multiplayer will look like this time around. There’s still no word regarding a release date or platforms, so be on the look out!
I hope the free roam will be a lot more Red Dead Redemption style, there was so much to do! In GTA IV you finish with 500k and nothing to do but kill people...
