Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Really ExistsBy Miodrag Kovačević | October 10, 2011 | News | No comments | Share
Although it was heavily hinted at before, Australian magazine PC Powerplay has officially confirmed that the third installment in the Mass Effect series will be getting online multiplayer. So far, we know that the online modes will be standalone co-op gameplay, unrelated to Shepard’s endeavours directly. The November issue of the magazine will cover this feature in more detail, including giving us BioWare’s explanation as to why they are including multiplayer in a game that was, up until now, a singleplayer experience with a strong narrative. Here’s to hoping it’s not along the lines of “because everyone is doing it”.
