Diablo III Beta in Q3 2011

Diablo III, we have been waiting for you for so long, but it seems we’ll have to wait a little longer.
In today’s conference call held by Activision Blizzard for their shareholders about their first quarter this year, CEO Mike Morhaime said they’ll have an external beta test during the third quarter this year.
In these conference calls, Activision Blizzard talks a lot of (financial) numbers and tell their shareholders about what’s to come this year and give them a chance to ask questions.
According to Mike Morhaime, no release date was given since quality is more important than a specific release date. During this call CFO Thomas Tippl said, just like at the Q4 2010 call:
Should we not release a major title from Blizzard this year, we would expect for planning purposes, to launch a minimum of two Blizzard titles in 2012.
Knowing Blizzard and their “no release until it’s finished”-policy, I wouldn’t bet on a game in 2011.
