PlayStation Max Trophy Level Reached

Just like with Xbox’ achievements, some people are getting hooked on “collecting” trophies in PS3 games. I’m guessing none are as hooked as Hakoom.
Hakoom has taken trophy-hunting to a whole new level as he recently posted a video of him syncing his trophies which allowed him to reach level 50…the current maximum level cap Sony’s trophy system has.
His breakdown of trophies are listed below.
13,604 Trophies
- Bronze – 9,311
- Silver – 3,018
- Gold – 1,016
- Platinum – 259
His Trophy card can looks like this:

What’s even more impressive is that Hakoom is now up to 14,949 trophies – and his current Platinum number is at 285 but is still stuck at level 50,
Do you know someone who’s as “passionate” with achievements and trophies? Do they play all the games that come out to be able to amass this kind numbers?
259 platinums!!!I nearly have 1... Through pure dedication, Bad company 2 is about to be my first.
Holy balls! Thats a lot of platinums! My friends tell me how good I am collecting trophies, but 1300 is nothing compared to 15k haha!
This guy is nuts. And this is a good example of why the implementation of "Trophies" and "Achievements" might not be such a great idea. I agree that after beating a game I enjoy going back through to try and grab a few of those extra trophies, but collecting over 15k is kind of extreme. When a game becomes more about earning a PSN or Xbox Live award, and less about enjoying the actual game, I think something is lost.
