Modern Warfare 3 First Official Multiplayer Trailer – Watch it Now!

We’ve already seen Modern Warfare 3′s campaign and Spec Ops mode, now it’s the cream of the crop, the first official multiplayer trailer for Modern Warfare 3 has just been released and it looks quite different from your standard CoD trailer.
By different, I mean it moves a lot less slower, we see the different load-outs each soldier has and more importantly, there seems to be a “Strike Package” which are labeled “Assault” or “Support.” Could this mean Call of Duty is branching out to different classes like its main competitor? Also worth mentioning is that the killstreak system seems to have been scrapped by “Strike Chains.” My guess is it’s now point-based instead of being kill-based.

Around the 0.59 second mark you can clearly see a dog tag hovering in mid-air, is this something players can collect as well? If so, that’s another thing Modern Warfare 3 has “borrowed” from its chief rival.
The trailer lets us have a good look at the different strike chain rewards the game has – from turrets, traps, to air support. Again, the action and pacing seems to be a little more deliberate compared to past CoD games — or is it just me?
Expect more details to be unveiled once Call of Duty XP kicks off later today.

But... But... Robert Bowling said MW3 was more gun on gun gameplay :'( He LIED! HE LIED! OMG! - But, seriously, how can the man call this gun on gun? I see more BS going on than there was in Modern Warfare 2? Or is it just me? I hate to admit it, but the trailer looks disappointing. Ahh well, I'm done with multiplayer shooters anyway. I'll buy MW3 somewhere down the road for the campaign and the spec-ops survival mode.
