Twisted Metal to Be Out on Valentine’s Day

When it was revealed that the Twisted Metal reboot was getting delayed, no firm date was given other than “early 2012.” It turns out that early 2012 meant Valentine’s Day and this news came straight from David Jaffe himself.

In a video interview over at the Official PlayStation Blog, Eat Sleep Play co-founder David Jaffe confirmed the game’s release date and even showed a teaser of a trailer – yes, Jaffe knows how absurd that sounded as well. The full trailer for the character Dollface will be shown later in the week, and will showcase the character’s backstory and a glimpse of gameplay.

For anyone who has played a Twisted Metal game before you’ll know why the game is big news.

Again, Twisted Metal’s new release date is on Valentine’s Day February 14th.

Sounds perfect to me. Too many good games coming out right now and Feb is early enough in the year for me to buy possibly.
