Guess Who’s Playing Battlefield 3?

If you’re an FPS fan, chances are you’ve heard about this big Call of Duty vs. Battlefield thing that’s supposed to go down later this year. Have you picked a side yet? More importantly, do you have to?
Someone who doesn’t feel the need to bash the competition’s game is Robert Bowling. Infinity Ward’s creative strategist. Infinity Ward an Sledgehammer Games are of course, developing Modern Warfare 3 – which makes what you’re about to see more surprising.
You see Bowling tried Battlefield 3 out at gamescom. Yep, he went to “enemy” territory and tried their biggest competition to date. Oh, and there are pics!
Bowling was playing 4vs4 Team Deathmatch with DICE”s Daniel “zh1nt0″ Matros, so we don’t know if he tried the jets or various vehicles in the game.
If you think Bowling did this in secret, you’re mistaken. He even tweeted about it which a lot of people appreciated.
GamesCom completed! Spent an hour playing @Battlefield 3 multiplayer with friends from DICE, I loved it! Also, Batman: Arkham City = amazing
Things like this makes one wonder why can’t people buy and enjoy both? If the people behind the games can, consumers should too, don’t you think? Will this bring a halt to all this Call of Duty vs. Battlefield flaming that’s becoming more and more prevalent? I doubt it, but hopefully it can douse it a little.
